🌡️"Storing energy like a thermos"🌡️
All existing buildings part of the Bex school campus have been preserved, renovated and extended. The choice is justified not only by the context, but by the need to limit energy consumption during construction (grey energy).
Thanks to large water tanks (SolarTank), energy can be stored during the summer and redistributed during the winter. The large storage tanks are placed at the boundary between the interior and exterior of the building, marking the entrances with sculptural volumes and structuring the building‘s expression.
